Standing room only!
April’s networking meeting was a FULL HOUSE with just over 20 attendees, a sure sign that the business group is growing. A special thanks to The Coffee Joint in Cornish, they opened on an off day just for us and served up some delicious, and always appreciated coffee and tea. Their menu is always gluten-free and the atmosphere is welcoming, bright, and relaxed.
“The most credible form of advertising comes straight from the people we know and trust.”
Who is your best source for business referrals?
Other local professionals, of course! Presenting to our group gives you an opportunity to inform 20 or so local professionals about your business/organization. Customers trust the business owners they already have a relationship with, so why not be the someone when they say, “I don’t offer that, but I know someone who does!”
Each month one attendee will give a brief presentation (10-15 minutes) about their business, or a topic they are well educated in, such as a service their business provides.
Our groups’ co-founder, Patrick Harrigan gave a fantastic presentation at our April meeting. His focus was on the art of giving a presentation. He had some valuable tips and ideas. Thanks, Patrick for the great presentation!
- You don’t have to have a fancy presentation!
- Tell them what you’re going to tell them.
- Tell them what you want to tell them.
- Tell them what you just told them.
